Manual Handling training course that covers the basic safety and competence required for personnel working within a wind turbine or associated infrastructure.
This course applies to both on-shore and off-shore activities.
On completion of training, participants will be able to demonstrate understanding of the importance of carrying out work duties in a safe and sound manner in accordance with legislative requirements, identify aspects of their job tasks that could increase a worker’s risk of developing muscular injuries and demonstrate a problem solving approach to Manual Handling in a wind turban environment.
The training course content is accredited by the Global Wind Organisation.

Medical requirements: A self-certified statement of reasonable medical fitness will be required prior to attendance. Should be comfortable with exposure to height.
