Course Overview
The GWO Sea Survival course is designed to give participants the knowledge, skills, and ability to safely work offshore including using PPE and life-saving appliances, the use of location devices and survival techniques when submerged in the sea, and safe procedures for vessel-to-vessel and vessel to turbine transfers.

The overall objective of the GWO Sea Survival module is that participants will be able to act independently to prevent incidents, and minimise the consequences of any incidents by working safely and taking care of themselves and others while working offshore.

Pre-requisites:

Participants must be able to swim and be in a good state of physical fitness (participants will be required to fill in a medical self-declaration)

Participants must have a WINDA ID (to obtain a WINDA ID, participants can register here)

If participants are doing the refresher course, they must hold a GWO Sea Survival certificate that is in date on the day of the course
